Evaluation..
Throughout this project I have done a lot of sampling but none of witch that I was completely satisfied with and I think that’s because my primary imagery was so full of colour I felt my samples needed to be and that wasn’t the case there was just too much colour and no main focus. I am very pleased that within my final sampling week I realised this and was able to create a sample that I felt really showed off and highlight the techniques I was using rather that bright colours in your face. I decided to choose one of my less multi coloured pictures to focus on and gave myself a limited selection of yarn that I used in varied amounts over my three final samples. Although I do not feel the colour and final samples truly reflect my final choose image I am pleased that they work as a series of samples and that the techniques I have used within them are a lot more clearly highlighted. I defiantly think you need to keep sampling to get what your happy with in the end but in my case I am disappointed that I was not happy with more of my samples throughout the project.

Fianl outcome process
Throughout my project i have experimented with alot of samples and have never really liked any of them or felt the where strong enough aswell as reflecting my research and so after my full project had been filled with lots of crazy clashing clours i felt that maybe i should choose an image to inspire me that wasnt so brightly filled with neon colours and so i decided to go with this one mainly consisting of dark orange/red pink , purple and blue against a white background and i feel this is alot stronger than any of my samples. Too add colour to this i have used a series of techniques including:
Lace holes
Ladders
E-wrap
Hooking up
Drop stitch
Tassles Fringing

Designer influence .. Mark Fast
I absolutely love the work of Mark Fast and at the moment is my current favorite designers I feel his pieces are so unique and look amazing on the catwalk. I especially like the open structures and ladder effects in comparison to the tightly knitted areas and then the blocks of colour fringing and tassels just complete the pieces. Inspired by mark I have used the ladders technique to create an open structured knit and then wrapped in lots of tassels using colour inspiration from my imagery.

Designer influence .. Sister by sibling
Sister by sibling is A collaboration between designers Joe Bates, Sid Bryan and Cozette McCreery, SIBLING is all for one and one for all. Before setting up SIBLING, the designers each worked for many brands and design houses, learning that it is “never as easy as it looks and most importantly that invaluable lesson in how not to do something.
“On the SIBLING family tree SISTER is on the branch right next to brother SIBLING so you can expect colour, humour, sparkle and that everything will be knitted.”
“We like mutating classic, traditional knitwear designs or techniques so the Knit Monster Scare Isle comes to mind.”
I really love the collections I have seen so far the use of bold colours and different textures within their knits create an amazing outcome of garments. I love the detailing and the structures comparing differant parts of the garment.

Editing imagery
I have taken two my images from Camden with colours I especially love mainly focusing on the purple and pink tones I have then copied these into photo shop and just to mix things up have experimented with layering and changing the brightness and contrast, I am pleased with the outcome although I would maybe like to do more of this at a higher standard once I develop my photo shop skills. It would be also great to see how this could then be printed onto of a knitned sample.
